Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 12, 2025

By working with Alison Castillo / A. Rose Creative, you agree to the following terms. These are here to keep our collaboration clear, respectful, and smooth.

1. Booking and Payment

  • Your project date is only confirmed once payment is received—either in full or with a 50% deposit.

  • If you choose the 50/50 option, the remaining 50% is due by close of business the day before your scheduled session. If final payment isn’t received on time, your session may be rescheduled once at my discretion, but your spot is not guaranteed.

2. Refund Policy

  • Payments are non-refundable once received, unless cancellation is requested within 48 hours of payment. After that window, no refunds will be given—even if the session hasn’t taken place yet.

  • If you're unable to move forward for any reason, let me know. I’ll always try to find a fair and human solution—but refunds are not guaranteed.

3. Invoicing and VAT

  • Clients located in the EU will be charged 21% VAT in accordance with Dutch law. This will be clearly included in your invoice, issued through Moneybird.

4. Rescheduling

  • Dedicated session days may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.

  • You may reschedule once, and only within 30 days of the original date. Rescheduling is subject to availability and handled on a first come, first served basis.

  • If we can’t find a new date within 30 days, or if you’re unable to complete payment, your session may be canceled. Any amount paid will not be refunded.

  • 5. Collaboration and Communication

  • We’ll use Notion, WhatsApp, and Loom to keep things connected and efficient. This is a collaborative but asynchronous process, so your responsiveness matters.

  • You are responsible for:

    • Providing content, feedback, and approvals during the project

    • Being available to respond during your session window

    • Notifying me if your availability changes

  • “Timely” means responding to check-ins or drafts within 1–2 hours during your session window. If feedback is delayed and I don’t have time to implement it before your session ends, those changes may not be completed.

6. Scope and Additions

  • The work completed will reflect the scope outlined in your proposal. If new needs or tasks come up that fall outside of that scope, we may pause to reassess or plan a follow-up session.

7. Ownership and Use

  • Once your project is complete and paid in full, the deliverables are yours to use however you like.

  • I may showcase completed work in my portfolio or marketing, unless you request otherwise.

8. Values and Boundaries

  • This is a collaborative space built on respect, clarity, and inclusion.

  • Discrimination, harassment, or boundary-pushing behavior will result in termination of the project without refund.
